Welcome!
We are Northern California Pomskies, the first Pomsky breeder in California! We’ve proudly been providing the best family and companion dogs to Sacramento, The San Francisco Bay Area and Southern California, including Los Angeles and San Diego since 2014! We also provide flight nanny service to anywhere in the U.S., working with a trusted and licensed flight nanny company that offers affordable rates.
We regularly deliver to Southern California and the Bay Area at no additional fee. While our Pomskies are international, some as far as Denmark, we are honored to have sizable communities of our Pomskies populating both SoCal and The San Francisco Bay Area! Check out two wonderful Pomsky communities started by past puppy families of ours:
San Francisco Bay Area Pomskies and SoCal Pomsky Meetups and Community . We’re so happy so many of our past puppies and their wonderful families are able to get together!

Quality Matters
We are one of the oldest Pomsky breeders in the nation and we have always been committed to quality. We believe that means the top commitment should always be to health and temperament! Of course our Pomskies are exceptionally beautiful too! We’ve selected only the best in all categories to be a part of our program. Check out our Meet the Pack section to see the outstanding Pomskies in our program!
Health
All of our breeding dogs are DNA and genetic health tested through Embark. This ensures our puppies are protected from over 200+ genetic health risks. We would never breed any dogs that may knowingly pose health risks to their future puppies. This is also why we choose not to breed for exotic colors such as blue or lilac, due to the health risks (such as alopecia) associated with the genes that allow those colors to be expressed. We also do not allow any Merle in our lines due to future health concerns associated with the Merle gene (such a blindness and hearing loss). All of our puppies receive a comprehensive health examination from a licensed veterinarian, routine deworming, and are up to date on vaccinations. We also provide a 2 year genetic health guarantee for every puppy.
Temperament
All of our litters are carefully planned. We have been breeding Pomskies since 2014 and can trace our lines back to our original Pomeranian and Siberian Husky foundations. All of our puppies have Husky/Pomeranian lineage. We believe the personality traits possessed by each of these breeds to be ideal in creating the best possible Pomskies and that is why we do not add American Eskimo or any other breeds to our lines. Having a background in canine behavior, we knew just the right traits to seek out in creating the optimal family and companion Pomskies! Our Pomskies are friendly, social, intelligent and make excellent companions. Not only are these great traits in their genes, but we begin socializing our puppies as soon as possible. They get daily cuddles and interaction with children, cats, toys, household noises, various textures and environments, time alone, introduction to crate training and introduction to doogie door training.
Appearance
We Specialize in Miniature Husky-like Pomskies 10 to 25lbs, with Medium to Wooly coats in a variety of colors! We aim for a ‘big dog’ in a little package, so to speak. We aim for sturdy, compact dogs that can lead happy, active lifestyles, ready for adventure. Although we may occasionally have puppies smaller than 10lbs, we do not breed for “micro”, “teacup”, or “pocket” puppies. You can check out many of our past puppies and see their awesome Instagram pages by going to our past puppies section.

Beware of SCAMS!
It has come to our attention that people are impersonating our kennel or misrepresenting puppies as having come from us that they are trying to “re-home”. All of our Pomsky families sign contracts and part of those contracts state that they are REQUIRED to contact us if they ever need to re-home their pomsky. We either take the dog back into our home or we assist in the re-homing process. This very rarely occurs, but it is something we can verify as we keep very good records. Unfortunately, we are aware of at least 3 people who have been scammed already. We try to warn people here on our website and on our social media, but the best way to protect yourself is, BEFORE any transaction takes place, contact us directly via our email: northerncapomskies@yahoo.com
As a policy we do not give out our phone number and we only speak over the phone with verified/approved families. This is important because at least in one instance (that we’re aware of) the family that was scammed was given a phone number and the people on the line were impersonating us. Our email is a secure way to know you’re communicating directly with us. Please be cautious, please do your utmost in researching any breeder you’re considering working with, and always remember if it seems too good to be true or feels fishy in any way, it might be a scam!
